Even though Live A Live has relatively short playtimes, it always manages to tell entertaining short stories, which are equally skillfully funny as well as melancholic and tragic.

The good news is that the text is perfectly translated into Spanish. The slang currently used by young people has been conveyed incredibly well. This is noticeable even in the text messages that the characters send to each other with their phones, where they forget to use accents and constantly try to find a way to shorten the sentences.

And if that wasn't cool enough for you, check out at the German subtitles while listening to the English VO: a gloriously idiosyncratic mix of teenage slang and cringe - simply amazing! Last two points in the green bullet list say: "Modern Shibuya: Looks, Snacks and Slang" & "Enjoyable dialogs".

Apart from all this, we would like to remark that they have added a minigame that Western players never got to see before and the fact that it is totally localised into Castilian Spanish, which is always something nice to take into account, especially when the outcome is great, as it happens in this case.

The French version is great: it took 22 years to come out, but it translates the many levels of language and other complicated expressions of the Japanese version. Although it first seems off-putting, you then realise how much the localisation helps with the player's immersion. On that matter, it's a success: the French translation could even almost be seen as a model. We would like to thank the translators, whoever they are.
