We are currently looking for a Tech Product Owner / Full Stack Engineer who manages the development of an AI-enabled platform, AltaGram 4.0. Our ultimate objective is to become a game changer in the video game culturalization market. We envision a situation where all game development companies and game publishers manage their entire culturalization needs on our platform no matter if they are using external services or ours. As the entire market moves on AltaGram 4.0, semantic/deep learning features will be able to automate the culturalization of an increasing amount of contents (voice, text/caption and visuals).

  • Be part of a strong C-Level team and work directly with the CEO & COO to bring an incredible AI-enabled platform to the market of video games localization.

Localization Project Manager (m/f/d)
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the localization of diverse video game titles from our clients and partners. This includes internal deliveries to all relevant departments (audio, translation, testing, DTP) while being the sole contact with the client. The role of Project Manager requires you to liaise constantly with a range of high-profile managers and developers in order to guarantee the delivery of projects within a specified deadline and budget. At the same time, the Project Manager must also ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality by the production team.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing localization projects from beginning to end
  • Providing input and feedback for the continuous improvement of processes, services, and client relationships
  • Being the main point of contact between the Altagram team and clients: be accountable, transparent, and flexible

Localization QA Test Lead (m/f/d)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Localization Test Lead in our new Montreal office to provide video game localization QA for our prestigious clients and partners. You will be managing projects and a team of localization video game testers, while being a main point of contact with the clients. This is a new position; hence, an ideal opportunity for an experience LQA tester or Lead (within the gaming industry) to utilize his/her Localization and gaming industry knowledge in order to help develop the localization services of Altagram in Montreal.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing assigned projects while respecting their schedule, deadlines and requirements
  • Coordinating a multilingual team of localization testers
  • Leading test preparation and planning
  • Managing and maintaining schedules for testing activities and prioritizing tasks
  • Creating and maintaining checklists, test cases and project trackers
  • Supervising bug reporting and vetting, ensuring crosschecking between languages
  • Accurately reporting testing progress, project status and feedback on a daily basis

Requirements:
  • Localization sales experience
  • Experience with LQA projects
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

Localization Tester (m/f/d) – Video Games

Job Description:
We are currently looking for Localization Testers in Montreal. You will be responsible for proofreading and testing in-game and video game-related content. A background in game testing is advantageous. We are looking for candidates who love video games and who are familiar with PC and mobile devices as well as related terminology.

Responsibilities:
  • Verifying linguistic, cultural and contextual accuracy of localized in-game text, audio and subtitles
  • Verifying cosmetic integrity and implementation of in-game text
  • Ensuring that game guidelines and glossaries are correctly referenced throughout the game
  • Ensuring that compliance with terminology and publisher guidelines are respected at all time
  • Identifying and documenting defects in a clear and concise manner using the designated bug tracking database
  • Suggesting solutions to the defects reported and verifying fixes
  • Working in cooperation with a multilingual team in a fast-paced environment
  • Following test instructions accurately and executing tasks in a timely manner
  • Reporting to the Test Lead and assistance with other tasks when needed
Qualifications:
  • Outstanding skills in your native language
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong passion for video games
  • Knowledge and experience using PC and mobile devices
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong attention to detail and rigorous respect of deadlines
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively
  • Capability to work under pressure as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in QA or game localization is a real plus
  • French communication skills are advantageous
