We are very pleased to announce that Altagram’s CEO, Marie Amigues, will be moderating devcom’s localization panel this year. Devcom Developer Conference is being held from the 20th – 24th August in Cologne, Germany.
As part of gamescom, the largest video games event worldwide, devcom shall have a major focus on games development and publishing. devcom shall host a vast variety of events with attendees being able to hear the latest in tech, networking and community building.
As this year’s moderator for the devcom localization panel, Marie will be asking Blizzard‘s PMO, Outsourcing & Technology Group Manager, Antoine Dulac; SEGA‘s Localization Manager, Marta Gonzalez, phantom 8‘s CEO, Simon Gerdesmann; KnapNok Games‘ CEO and Co-Founder, Dajana Dimosvka, and Gameforge‘s Head of Localization, Sarah Beuter, to share their experience and advice with the audience on topics such as how to decide which markets to target when localizing.
Marie will be covering questions such as the reason for the costs behind localization and whether using fan’s translations is a good idea.
