Localization Manager (m/f)

Altagram GmbH is currently hiring a Localization Manager (m/f) who will manage an outstanding multicultural team of translators and coordinators, both in-house and freelance.
The Localization Manager has a key role in the company. He/She will collaborate with Altagram Project Managers, Localization Software Engineers, Audio Managers and other team members to manage the localization projects, leverage innovative problem-solving and implement new processes and workflows to help the linguistic team manage a growing volumes of work, while keeping impeccable quality results.
We work in a very fast-paced environment, where our main priority is to always offer the greatest quality possible for any type of project or clients in video games. The Localization Manager would bring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a team with care and firmness. Localization Project Manager (m/f)

Position overview:

Altagram GmbH is currently hiring a Localization Project Manager (m/f) who will be responsible for coordinating the localization of diverse video games titles from our clients and partners.
The candidate will work in a fast -paced environment and will manage aggressive delivery schedules.

The Project Manager needs excellent organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills to interface with different departments and to effectively lead team members from various cultures and backgrounds on a day-to-day basis in order to create a product that meets the highest standards of quality.

The Project Manager can produce high impact results and can shorten localization time-to-market, reduce costs and help our clients achieve their global business objectives.
This position is full-time and in-house at the Altagram office in Berlin.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform successfully in this position.

The Project Manager must have a flexible, can-do attitude, be able to work well under pressure and to lead by example. Confident customer relations and excellent communication skills are essential.
He or she will also coordinate internal deliveries with all the relevant departments (audio, translation, testing, DTP) while providing the sole interface for the client. In addition, he or she will assume responsibility for project budget control.

The role of Project Manager requires constant liaising with a variety of high-profile managers and developers in order to guarantee the delivery of projects within a specified deadline and budget. At the same time, the Project Manager must also ensure that projects are held to the highest standards of quality with the production team.


  • Managing localization projects from beginning to end
  • Providing input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes, services, and client relationships

  • Briefing and debriefing the team for each project

Video Game Localization Coordinator - German, Spanish, French, Japanese, English (m/f)

Position overview:

We are currently seeking a full-time Linguistic Coordinator to fill an internal position in our office in Berlin. The contract will be a permanent one.

The Linguistic Coordinator will be in charge of managing and coordinating the multilingual translation of video game titles, respecting production schedules and budgets. He or she should be able to demonstrate strong organizational abilities as well as linguistic skills.

The Coordinator will be working on a large range of projects for all platforms, including titles from very prestigious clients such as 505 Games, Blizzard, Sega or Square Enix, along with an in-house team of translators and coordinators and some freelance translators.


  • Translation and proofreading of video-game related content in native language
  • Creation and updating of guides, databases and terminology lists
  • File analysis and preparation
  • Coordination of multilingual localization projects using in-house and external resources
  • Supervision of internal and external teams during and between projects
  • Controlling quality and compliance with guidelines and reference material
  • Managing external resources

  • Outstanding skills in native language (German, Spanish, French, Japanese or English)
