Localization Project Manager (m/f)
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the localization of diverse video game titles from our clients and partners. This includes internal deliveries to all relevant departments (audio, translation, testing, DTP) while being the sole contact with the client. The role of Project Manager requires you to liaise constantly with a range of high-profile managers and developers in order to guarantee the delivery of projects within a specified deadline and budget. At the same time, the Project Manager must also ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality by the production team.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing localization projects from beginning to end
  • Providing input and feedback for the continuous improvement of processes, services, and client relationships
  • Being the main point of contact between the Altagram team and clients: be accountable, transparent, and flexible
  • Shortening localization time-to-market, reducing costs, and helping our clients to achieve their global business objectives
  • Briefing and debriefing the team for each project
  • Ensuring the most effective use of our software tools for assigned projects
  • Creating and controlling localization project budgets, performing cost tracking analysis, ensuring purchase orders and invoices are issued in a timely manner
  • Traveling to fairs or events to meet potential or existing clients
  • Leading meetings and conference calls, including: project kick-offs, weekly and ad hoc meetings, issue resolution meetings, and performing post mortems on projects
  • Identifying and solving problems quickly and effectively
Requirements:
  • Self-motivation, and the ability to solve problems and make decisions while acting independently and decisively
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills required
  • Experience in an agency environment
  • Experience with audio projects is a real plus

Linguistic Video Game Tester (m/f) in Berlin - FR, DE, IT, ES, PT-BR, RU, ZH, KO, AR
Position overview:
Are you based in Berlin and love playing video games? We are currently seeking Freelance Linguistic Testers in Berlin to provide video game localization QA. You should be proactive, motivated, and an enthusiastic team player. A background in game testing is advantageous. Candidates must be avid gamers and familiar with most consoles, mobile devices, and terminology.

Responsibilities:
  • Proofreading/testing of in-game and video game related content
  • Controlling quality as well as compliance with guidelines and reference material
  • Bug reporting and tracking
  • Suggesting possible and relevant solutions
  • Working in cooperation with a team of translators and/or testers
Requirements:

Position Overview:
The role is a combination between Localization Project Manager and LQA Lead Tester. As Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the localization of diverse video game titles from our clients. As the LQA Lead Tester you will be in charge of managing all our testing activities to ensure the best possible quality.

Vendor Manager (m/f)
Position overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and organizing the recruitment of external Freelance Translators. The main tasks include searching for new resources and communicating daily with applicants in order to find the best translators in more than 40 languages, thus assuring the best possible quality for various multilingual game localization projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting new Freelance Translators for video game localization to extend our external resource network
